What Happens when you Die?
When you pass away with no heirs or preplanning, your estate will go to the government to take care of. If you do not have a will or any surviving relatives, it will be up to your landlord or the bank to dispose of items. If you are single and you prefer to have any special items passed down to others, without preplanning, they will most likely go to the local landfill site.
What about your pets? If you do not have a friend or family member that is willing to take on the responsibility of loving your furry family member? It is very likely that they will go to the local shelter where their fate is unknown.
